Executive Housekeeper

Position: Executive Housekeeper
Location: Graaff-Reinet
Employment Type: Full-time
Role Type: Leadership

  • Lead all housekeeping operations (rooms, public areas, laundry, back-of-house)
  • Maintain luxury cleanliness and hygiene standards
  • Manage staffing, rosters, training, and team performance
  • Oversee linen, amenities, inventory, and cost control
  • Conduct quality checks and audits
  • Collaborate with maintenance teams
  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and chemical protocols
  • Support budgeting, cost-saving initiatives, and asset care
  • 3–5+ years leadership experience in luxury hospitality housekeeping
  • Strong, hands-on leadership style
  • Highly detail-oriented with exceptional quality standards
  • Organised, resilient, and calm under pressure
  • Confident working independently and cross-departmentally
  • Flexible with shifts, weekends, and public holidays

Assistant Front Office Manager

Position: Assistant Front Office Manager
Location: Drostdy Hotel, Graaff-Reinet
Employment Type: Full-time
Reports to: Front Office Manager

  • Ensure exceptional guest experiences and personalised 5-star service
  • Supervise, coach, and schedule front office staff
  • Oversee shift handovers and daily reporting
  • Manage VIP arrivals and special guest requests
  • Monitor billing accuracy and cash handling compliance
  • Support onboarding and training of new team members
  • Diploma in Hospitality
  • 3–5 years’ relevant experience
  • Strong leadership and guest service orientation
  • Proficient in hotel PMS systems and MS Office
  • Calm under pressure and solutions-focused
  • Flexible with shifts

Start Date: As soon as possible

Working Hours: Full time

Weekends/Public Holidays: Required depending on scheduling
